Janine Bastian
Janine (Jan) has been a resident of Boise for most of her life. She has traveled extensively to all parts of the world including Israel, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and all over the United States. She was a resident of the San Diego area and Kailua-Kona, Hawaii for about 10 years, but Boise and the state of Idaho drew her back home.
Janine recently retired from teaching Algebra in the Boise School District. She taught for 25 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Math Education.
Janine joined forces with her friend and business partner, Jeanette Kurtz, mostly during the summers about 5 years ago, to buy, remodel, and sell homes. That business turned into Property MgMt & More and Blue Heaven Estate and Consignment Sales.
Janine has always believed that creating “home” is of high importance in a person’s life, certainly in hers. This interest makes her dedicated to enthusiastically managing properties for owners and supporting tenants. She is dedicated to working with clients in all aspects of their home and property needs. Property MgMt & More and Blue Heaven Estate and Consignment Sales are her current passion.
Janine enjoys activities such as running, cycling, mountain biking, snow and water skiing, hiking, tennis, yoga, cooking and gardening. She especially enjoys time with the world’s greatest collection of family and friends.
Jeanette Kurtz
Jeanette has been a resident of Idaho for the past 33 years. She has had the pleasure of being a realtor for the past 14 years. Prior to getting her real estate license, she worked at the Idaho Legislature for 4 years as the assistant to the Majority Leader. Prior to that she was in banking for 15 years and raised her 3 wonderful sons with her husband of 37 years.
In addition to being a realtor, Jeanette decided to broaden her scope of real estate and think outside the box. She felt there was a need in the rental business that could use a bit more of a “hands on” approach by servicing the owner and tending to the renter’s needs at the same time. That’s where Jan and Jeanette decided to join as partners with a vision to do just that – and “More”!
The “More” has snow-balled into Vacation Home Care and Blue Heaven Estate Sale and Consignment Sales.
Jeanette is honored to have joined Jan in building their company of Property Mgmt and More. She has always enjoyed helping people solve problems with regards to finding a home, whether to rent or buy, help them sell a home, organize their space to create an enjoyable atmosphere to live in. They both believe Property Mgmt & More can fill those shoes and then some!
Jeanette feels blessed to live in the great city of Boise where she is able to enjoy golfing, skiing, running, gardening, cooking and of course, her friends and family.
